Pictured is Anna Walsh and David from CHADD with Debra Warren and Gemma Blackford from Friends of Russells Hall Park in front of the defibrillator and bleed kit at our sheltered housing scheme, Rotary House.
It means that anyone in the area who has a heart attack or suffers a severe bleed is closer to life-saving help than before.
CHADD donated £825.00, half the cost, with the other half from the Henry Angel James Memorial Trust.
Friends of Russell’s Hall Park will be one of the guardians; they will help us do weekly and monthly checks.
Next, the site will be registered with emergency services so when someone dials 999 they can be directed to use the equipment.
