Our Foyer for young people provided Emergency Nights and the support to lead Independent Lives

80 young people lived in our On-Route Foyer.
145 used the emergency bed for the night.
The Foyer is a springboard for young people. We work together to give people the energy and confidence to plunge into life. Staffers Helen O’Neill and Canel Pearce helped the foyer start a football team. Dena Rock scored 4 in her first match
“You have to learn to give the opposition a chance as well, we have to learn to let them have a go and understand they may have disabilities are not able to do what we can”
Dena Rock

Of the 80 who lived with us this year
- 2 young people secured places at University

We use the Impact Assessment App to routinely capture how people are:

“When I first moved here I was anxious and embarrassed but ready to embrace living independently for the first time. I have grown up since being here and I feel I have really progressed.”
