Supported Independent Living and Community Care

We have six properties across Dudley with room for 25 people in total. We also run extensive community care services to support people to live independent lives.

Community Care

Our community care service is for adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism and long term mental health issues.

We offer long and short-term support.  Our service users live independently in the community and our support workers operate across the whole of the Dudley borough

At the moment we support more than 100 people each day with an experienced and committed team of more than 60 support staff led by Oli Westwood.

Most of our team get to work one to one and spend proper time with people, supporting them in the activities they want to do.

How can we access your community services?

You are welcome to approach us directly for yourself, a member of your family or someone you care for.  People are also referred from social services and other organisations supporting adults.

Anybody interested in the service needs to ask  for an Application for a Service form from CHADD Community Support. You can request these by phone on 01384 896900 or via email to oliver.westwood@chadd.org.uk

I’m immensly proud of the team. They are the best! The self-sacrifice they offer, the time they take out of their own schedule, the quality of support and care and empathy they give is just the best. They always put their service users first.
