The Rt Revd Graham Usher, Bishop of Dudley
Chair of Board of Management
The Rt Revd Graham Usher has been the Bishop of Dudley since 2014 when, like his predecessors, Bishop Graham joined the board of CHADD as chair. His background is in parish ministry in the Northeast; in Middlesbrough he was heavily involved with urban renewal and community management, and in Hexham he supported the work of a domestic abuse charity and the church ministering to those on the edge of society.
Since being Bishop of Dudley he has championed the town’s welcome of refugees and has been vocal in his desire to build strong communities built on understanding and trust. Bishop Graham undertakes a number of roles across the Church of England in Worcestershire and Dudley, and nationally he is one of the environmental bishops. Since 2016 he has been a board member of the Human Tissue Authority.
