This month, On Route Foyer (CHADD) were proud to be awarded Youth Foyer Accreditation at Leader level.
This is a fantastic result and the comments in the report are amazing. We knew we had done well but this is amazing and Leanne and her team have worked so hard to prepare for the accreditation.
We always knew the service was brilliant, and to get this recognition is such a confirmation and more! But importantly, it shows that young people in the borough are receiving opportunities to grow and thrive and achieve.
Youth Foyer Accreditation is awarded by the Foyer Federation to youth supported housing services who, by meeting the Youth Foyer Quality Standards, have proven that they deliver a truly high-quality, transformational service with young people who can’t live at home.
Youth Foyers are more than a place to stay: they are thriving communities, with people – not circumstance – at the heart. They work with young people to build on their strengths, share power and create holistic development opportunities.
The Youth Foyer Quality Standards have been developed by the Foyer Federation over 30+ years of working with youth supported housing services across the UK and Ireland to describe the fundamental principles and key characteristics of a Youth Foyer.
As ‘Leaders’, On Route Foyer (CHADD) has demonstrated excellence in delivering impactful strengths-based and transformational support for young people, whilst also influencing wider practice and championing Advangaged Thinking across the local community and wider sector. On Route Foyer (CHADD) is a beacon of innovation, leadership and youth empowerment.
