This week CHADD staff celebrated the fourth year of the Dudley Young Persons’ Alliance.
The Dudley Young Persons’ Alliance brings together several organisations to help young individuals find their footing, build confidence, and receive practical and personal support.
It’s a conscious strategic shift developed between local charities and social enterprises and Dudley Council. Our collective aim is to make sure that young people in Dudley – who might otherwise face homelessness have someone to live on, someone to back them.
The Alliance received funding for seven years and last week celebrated its fourth full year in operation.
Hosted in the newly landscaped YMCA garden, staff and young people enjoyed a delicious BBQ in the glorious sunshine. Everyone was treated to a musical performance from three of the young people who played and sang beautifully.
This unique collaboration involves five organisations, including CHADD, Just Straight Talk, Top Church Training, Green Square Accord, and Black Country YMCA, working alongside Dudley Council to support young people in various ways.
